  1. I was not more than superficially familiar with Amy Winehouse’s music, but I completely agree with your view . . . I used to work in the music business, and it was clear to me that all too often, once an artist proved successful, he or she could very easily become a “commodity” rather than a person (depending in whose hands he/she was entrusted), and once that happens, the love of money can take over, and personal lives reel out of control . . . all too often.
